Seagate unveils 750GB external hard drive

Everymonth there is a new a release for hard drives...either in size or capacity and this month is for capacity. Seagate releases 750GB external hard drive.

The 750GB Pushbutton Back-up Hard Drive, which runs at 7,200rpm and contains 16MB of cache memory, features both USB and Firewire connections, and is available with both PC and Mac software that will automatically back up your computer's hard drive when the button on the front of the drive is pressed.The company says the drive will be available from May, shipping for around $559 (£310)

Motorola has been granted a patent for a cell phone (or PDA) that can evaluate a room for adherence to Feng Shui principles, the ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. A mobile phone based on this patent would feature a direction sensor, digital camera (with software to analyze colors, order and balance of the environment), GPS to determine location of the space, an AM/FM radio (to make sure the space is far enough away from radio towers), and a table of “chi values.” The phone would also use the microphone for gauging undesirable noise levels.

The Nokia N72 is a multimedia handset with digital music player, dedicated capture and music player keys, integrated browser, FM radio and support for Visual Radio.

Expected to be released in June 2006 worldwide including including the Middle East and Africa, Russia, Eastern Europe, mainland China, India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia and the Philippines.

Nokia N73 and N93 released.

Nokia today released another two new N series phones with more features. The new models runs on series 60 3rd edition and feature feature large 2.4-inch QVGA, 262k color displays, Bluetooth 2.0, miniSD slot expansion, MP3/ACC media players, FM radio with Visual Radio, and a chubby 3.2 megapixel shooter with Carl Zeiss optics, autofocus, mechanical shutter, and integrated flash. And the another great news is that, the pictures can be send as mms, email and even directly to the flickr accounts. Neither of these phones is expected on an American carrier, but Nokia will be selling both at new flaghship stores they will open around the country. Both phones are due out in the 3rd quarter.
